Experience
Caroline is an Environmental Scientist with 22 years’ experience in flora and fauna survey and assessment, environmental impact assessment and management and restoration ecology. Caroline’s capabilities extend from project management to technical, data analysis and report writing. Prior to Burchills, Caroline was Principal Scientist of EMC – Ecological Management Consulting for over ten years, providing environmental assessment services to government and industry clients in SEQ. Caroline has previously worked for local government where she assessed the environmental impact of proposed developments under the IDAS framework. Prior to Council, Caroline worked at Parsons Brinckerhoff (PB) for three years as an ecologist. Her work at PB included ecological survey and assessment for road and energy infrastructure throughout Queensland and northern NSW.
