Graeme is one of our more experienced team members having been part of the Burchills family from the beginning some 43 years ago. If Graeme is not sharing his wealth of knowledge on numerous Gold Coast projects, he will be found cycling around the world on his push bike.
Experience
Graeme has had 36 years post-graduate experience with structural engineering since gaining his Bachelor of Engineering at Monash University, Victoria in 1973. Graeme has worked as Team Leader and Senior Design Engineer for numerous reinforced concrete high rise buildings up to forty stories, post tensioned office towers and commercial buildings up to twenty stories, shopping centres, marina resort foreshore developments including ferry terminals, canal revetment walling, timber boardwalks, jetties, floating marinas, boat storages etc.
Graeme’s involvement in a diverse range of structures has necessitated the development of many innovative solutions to ensure the ease of construction. Attendance at several International Technical Conferences such as the Tall Buildings Conference in Hong Kong and Shanghai.
