“I initially enjoyed the drafting and drawings preparation side of the work, having achieved good results in technical drawing over my school years. Over a long period, this has gradually evolved into a Civil Project Managers role and I really enjoy helping clients out to achieve their vision for a particular project. I feel very privileged to have been involved in many landmark projects during my 40-year career with Burchills. I’ve now been able to pull back to a 4-day working week, which I love, as it allows me to spend a bit more time surfing which is a really great fit for me”.
Experience
Paul is an experienced Senior Civil Designer and Project Leader with over 35 years of involvement in a wide range of civil engineering projects, including initial planning, conceptual pre-design and feasibilities, detailed civil design/documentation and project co-ordination.
In his role with Burchills Engineering Solutions, Paul has had a variety of responsibilities, including detailed subdivisional design and preparation of contract documentation, feasibility analysis and estimating, design of waterfront developments, project management and co-ordination of the tender process for various developments, for both public and private sector clients.
