Burchills were engaged by Lewisland to complete the engineering works on one of the Gold Coast’s most well known shopping outlets, Harbour Town. The 25 hectare Harbour Town Shopping Centre lies at the northern end of the Gold Coast.
The shopping centre includes Australia’s first purpose-built outlet shopping precinct including convenience, service and retail stores; a 14 screen cinema; cafes; restaurants; medical and health facilities.
Burchills Engineering Solutions were responsible for:
- All civil works including bulk earthwork in excess of 300,000 cubic metres;
- Major regional drainage works;
- Numerous external DTMR intersections;
- 2950 car parking bays; and
- Pump station.
