Our team here at Burchills have been involved in “The Lakes” development for Sunland Group since 2014 and have been responsible for the detailed civil designs and approvals for the establishment of the current lakes configuration, residential land parcels and roadworks and civil services infrastructure on the site.
The Lakes Residences is a medium density private residential development, comprising 67 architecturally designed town-homes within two separate precincts.
The overall development area for both precincts within The Lakes Residences covers approximately 4.2 Ha.
As part of Sunland Group’s concept development for this precinct, Burchills assisted with the preparation of preliminary feasibility estimates and assessment of water and sewer schematic requirements, along with the analysis of site flood storage requirements.
We have also undertaken the overall flood-modelling and hydraulic impact assessments for the overall Lakes development. Part of “The Lakes Residences” civil works included the design and documentation for the large multi-cell flood culverts required under the main access roadway within this precinct. These culverts link the two lakes on the site.
